Disclaimer: In consideration of our 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th purpose as an organized Lions Club; To Promote the principles of good government and good citizenship. To Take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community. To Provide a forum for the open discussion of all matters of public interest; provided, however, that partisan politics and sectarian religion shall not be debated by club members. To Encourage service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward, and to encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professions, public works and private endeavors.; and in consideration of the 6th tenet of our Code of Ethics; Always to bear in mind my obligations as a citizen to my nation, my state, and my community, and to give them my unswerving loyalty in word, act, and deed. To give them freely of my time, labor and means.; several members of the Fort Bend County West Lions Club are declared candidates for public higher office. Lions Clubs may not engage in partisan politics. This page serves as an informational resource listing our members who have volunteered to devote their life to the public. The club is prevented from endorsing any candidate for elected office, as that could be construed as partisan, and not merely as the belief that a Lion who is already devoted to public service may be good for the public. This page cannot and should not be considered an endorsement of the various individuals, their partisan opinions, affinities, or relationships.
