Hosted by the Fort Bend County West Lions Club at the Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Annex Courtroom - Judge Sonia Rash on October 17, 2024

Invocation - Glenda Williams, Fort Bend County West Service Chair

The Fort Bend County West Lions Club gratefully acknowledges that indigenous peoples and nations have stewarded through generations the lands and waterways that we now serve in today. 

We honor and respect the enduring relationship that exists between these peoples, nations, and this land; as well as the diverse and vibrant Native communities who make their home here today.

As Lions we meet so we may unite our hearts and minds in one accord; to make us and our communities strong; to aid the weak and disadvantaged, and right the wrongs we see every day. Let us go forth and answer the call of service today and every day forward as we Roar in Pride.

I pledge allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America; and to the Republic, for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice, for all.

Introduction of Presenter Katherine Culbert – Ella Aubin, Zone Chair

Fort Bend County West Lion Katherine Culbert has extensive knowledge of the Texas Railroad Commission, which oversees energy here in Texas. She most recently testified before the Commission on Tuesday. The Railroad Commission is key to protecting and stabilizing our environment. She has just a few minutes to speak before her next engagement.
